I’m not really one for doing reviews but, after trying to purchase a Smart car from two other dealers whose customer care and business sense was to be honest quite shocking, I was delighted to find Kenny's website.First looking at the Absolute Smarts website there was plenty of information and photos 10/10. Looking carefully at the pictures I could see that his car’s preparation had care that others did not give. My first call to Kenny, on his day off, oops, resulted in a great conversation leading to a second call for more information, it was clear that Kenny has a passion for the cars and for service. This call led to Kenny delivering our chosen car on a trailer, some considerable miles from his showroom to our house at a time convenient to us.The car was like new, Kenny insisted on washing the car in the street before we could look at it, you don’t get service like this from main dealers!I test drove the car and didn’t stop smiling. I’ve waited several weeks before sending this review in, all I can say is we are still smiling. Super car, Service above and beyond, would I recommend Absolute Smarts and Kenny, I certainly would.

Kenny's enthusiasm for Smart cars is infectious and genuine. He is honest, knowledgeable, always ready to assist and never pushy.ABS always have a good range of Smart ForTwos available. Having done a ton of research, I wanted a specific Smart model, which ABS had in stock.Kenny was happy to allow me to undertake a detailed test drive in the evening without any pressure on time constraints. The car was exactly what I wanted and reasonably priced, so I bought it.Interestingly, during the visit, my wife, who has no interest in cars, spotted a model that she fell in love with. It needed to be prepared for sale, which included some paintwork, but Kenny was happy to give us first refusal when it became availableA month later, true to his word, Kenny had the car ready. As my wife had never driven an automatic, Kenny allowed her to take the Smart on an extended test drive to check if it was for her. It was, and we now have two Smarts from ABS.Great service, great experience and highly recommended.

My disappointing experience with Absolute Smarts and Kenny:I previously owned a Smart car and needed to replace it after scrapping mine. I was actively looking for a reliable, trustworthy dealer and was happy to pay more to ensure I got a well-maintained vehicle.Absolute Smarts initially seemed like the right choice. Kenny was helpful, kind, and responsive at the start, and I felt confident moving forward with purchasing a Smart 451 from them for £3,450 (with a small discount). The car looked to be in good condition and, as I was told, fully serviced.Unfortunately, within just one week of driving it, the clutch actuator failed and I broke down in the middle of the road. I contacted Kenny for help. His initial response was that he was with family and didn’t have time to deal with it, so I said no problem and I ended the call. I called again the next day and was met with unexpected hostility and shouting because I ended the call— not something I expected after spending thousands with a dealer. All I needed was some reassurance on what to do next.Eventually, the car was repaired and he mentioned it was now fully serviced, including a fixed horn — which, surprisingly, wasn’t working despite the car having recently passed an MOT.To be cautious, I took the car for a second opinion at an independent garage. They identified around £1,900 worth of issues. I later discovered additional problems bringing the total closer to £2,250. I messaged Kenny again and initially received no response for over a month. After checking in with him again, he did reply, he dismissed the concerns, saying, “Sorry, you have your own mechanic.”I also noticed signs suggesting parts of the car may have been resprayed, including fading and spray residue on interior rubber trims. This raised further doubts about the car's history. I was also told that the previous owner serviced the car themselves, though I was given conflicting details about that too.Despite trying to communicate reasonably and give Kenny the opportunity to help resolve the matter, I was met with avoidance, attitude, and a lack of accountability. I felt let down and unsupported after the sale.I’m sharing this to urge others to be very cautious. If you decide to buy from this dealer, please have the vehicle independently inspected immediately after purchase.I was hoping to leave a 5 star review, if Kenny would've helped me resolve these but at this point I don't think it will ever happen.

Spoke to Kenny at Absolute Smarts Limited and was really impressed. He gave me clear, detailed advice about my Smart car and helped me understand how to sort out a few niggling issues that no one else had been able to resolve. He was genuinely helpful, even though he didn’t have to be, and clearly knows his stuff. Really appreciated his time and care—top-notch service. Highly recommended!

The experience was good throughout. We phoned up and made an appointment . Kenny had the car we were interested in plus a couple more ready for us to look at. He was informative but not pushy. He gave us space to look and think about our purchase. When we made our decision he gave us a fair price, and delivered to us as well. Love the car. Loved the service provided. Gave us a call 3 weeks later to check that we were still happy. Took the worry out of buying a used car.

Went there today (30/3/25) We both went up see Ken to install a regen on our cars for the air conditioning. The service was absolutely superb. Ken is such a lovely fella and made us both feel welcome . While my daughter’s Smart car was on regen . Ken did on his own back some other little jobs that needed to be done . He cares so well about his customers and there cars . When mine was on regen he done the same to my car . I was certainly recommended Ken . Thank you Ken for today . Mike

We brought a car from Absolute smarts last week and it was delivered to us this week. Very happy with the car. It also has a 6 month warranty. Couldn’t have been more helpful. Very knowledgeable. Very happy.

Incredible experience today, our daughters first car we have some good choices that were well prepared and Kenny made this milestone and absolute pleasure, no pressure and went out of his way to make the purchase a special occasion, you won’t find many like this!
